The school looks after students during term time. The guardian bridges the gap between school & parents, and provides additional support during holidays and emergencies.

Q6. How is your guardianship different from others?

We emphasise personal care: one-to-one WeChat parent groups, frequent visits, regular reports, and emotional support alongside academic guidance.

Q7. What happens if my child is sick or faces an emergency?

We will immediately step in, accompany them to medical appointments, sign urgent documents if needed, and update parents right away.

Q8. How do parents stay in touch with the guardian?

Through a private one-to-one WeChat parent group, 24/7 emergency phone line, and regular email/phone updates.

Q9. How are host families chosen? Are they safe?

All host families are DBS-checked, personally visited, and reviewed regularly to ensure safety and suitability.

Q10. How long is the guardianship contract? Can it be ended?

Contracts are usually signed per academic year. Parents can end the service by giving notice (normally one or two terms in advance).

Q11. What if my child struggles emotionally or mentally in the UK?

Guardians monitor students’ wellbeing closely. If needed, we contact the school counsellor or recommend professional mental health support.
